Beware of cuteness overload in the Tiny Takeover drop!

Hold onto your heartstrings, players! The baby mob bonanza about to hit Minecraft has earned its title and it is… Tiny Takeover! Since new versions of baby mobs are about to take over every corner of the Overworld — we’d better be ready for when they do!

I counted at least three dozen floofy, derpy, and deceptively huggable little menaces waddling this way. Whether you plan on befriending, battling, or building new homes for these little ones, let’s look at who is joining the pack and the other new features that’ll cause cuteness overload with this game drop!

Baby farm mobs

Chunky bodies and floofy little faces are ready to steal the show! You’ll see:

• Baby piglets

• Calves

• Lambs

• Chicks

• Kittens

• Wolf pups

• Baby ocelots

• Rabbits

These tiny farm mobs cluster around forests, pastures, barns, and camps just waiting to be found.

Baby mounts

Also joining Minecraft soon are:

• Foals (baby horses)

• Baby mules

• Baby donkeys

Breed them for an adorable stampede or give one all your love as your tiny ride!

Aquatic baby mobs

The oceans (and shores) are getting cuter too! You’ll see:

• Baby axolotls (brighter colours!)

• Baby dolphins (rounder noses!)

• Baby squid & baby glow squid

• Baby turtles (the tiniest of all!)

Hostile and scary baby mobs

Even hostile mobs got the cute treatment!

• Baby zombie

• Zombified piglin

• Hoglin

• Zoglin

• Zombie villager

• Husk

• Grumpy baby striders

Plus mischievous baby piglins in the Nether!

Baby villagers

Baby villagers now wander in smaller bodies, with button noses and new outfits — seven variants strolling through villages all over the world!

Wild baby mobs

From icy tundras to deserts and forests, wild babies include:

• Baby pandas

• Baby sniffer

• Baby fox

• Baby bees

• Baby polar bears

• Baby llamas

• Baby goats

• Baby armadillo

Some stay wild and untamable, others charmingly follow you around!

Golden dandelion

If you don’t want your babies to grow up, there’s a Golden Dandelion for that!

• Feed it to a baby mob to keep it young forever.

• To craft it: 8 golden nuggets + 1 dandelion.

• If you change your mind, feed it again to let it grow up!

Craftable name tags

With so many pets, you’ll need names! Name tags are now craftable using paper + any metal nugget, so you can name all your tiny friends without relying on dungeon loot or villager trades.

Bedrock spawn egg functionality

Just like Java Edition — in Bedrock Edition you can now use a spawn egg on an adult mob to spawn its baby! Want a kitten? Use a cat egg on an adult cat. Easy!

Custom mob sounds

This drop isn’t just cute to look at — it’s cute to hear!

Baby sounds now include:

• Piglet squeaks

• Puppy yaps

• Kitten meows

• Chick cheeps

Plus adult pigs, cows, cats, and chickens can spawn with different sound personalities, making your farm even more lively.

New sound block instrument: trumpet

Last but not least — a new instrument for note blocks! Place a block of copper under a note block and it will sound like a trumpet, with the tone changing based on how oxidized the copper is.
